Things We See Every Week #1: "I Thought I Needed an Alignment."

One of the most common things we hear is:

"My steering wheel is off. I think I need an alignment."

Sometimes that's exactly the problem.

But not always.

This week alone, we've seen vehicles that came in for an alignment, but the real issue was:

• A tire with internal belt separation

• Uneven tire pressure

• A worn tie rod

• A bent wheel from a pothole

An alignment can't fix those issues.

That's why we always start by checking the vehicle before making adjustments. If something is loose, worn, or damaged, aligning it first won't solve the problem.

The lesson?

The symptom doesn't always tell you the cause.

A good diagnosis saves you time, money, and unnecessary repairs.

That's why we believe in finding the problem first—not just selling the service.
